Goal was $500k when I first sold this short strangle on $PLTR! At $159k so far and I’m proud to say we don’t own any shares! I have zero interest in $PLTR at these levels, but it Mr. Market wants to pay out these types of premiums, I’ll be your huckleberry! This company has taught me that Euphoria trumps valuations and you just have to figure out how you can make money if you’re interested in the underlying. I was no longer comfortable owning shares here, but I still wanted to make money. Here’s where we landed.

after 24 hours, I still feel the Moody’s headline is a nothing burger more importantly, if we do get an sizeable drawdown… i think the tutes will be VERY happy because they just missed a historic rally and now they can use the “US credit downgrade” as a reason to buy cheaper $NVDA i mean we went up 25 PERCENT on the $QQQ in a month the largest tech companies in the world added a quarter to their market capitalization we got $2.4T of commitments of the middle east specifically for tech investments… while there are macro concerns, the tutes have obviously realized they completely read this wrong & it’s hard not to see a 5% dip across the market bring in SO much capital sitting on the sidelines. moodys has not changed my bullish mood but it has saved some of my covered calls which is why I don’t mind them either to be honest 🫡 SHOW GOES ON

Fidelity rocks. Why? I needed to call them for an issue, had someone on the phone in 3 min, problem solved. Robinhood would’ve taken 3 days.

QT is ending, and potentially abruptly. But the Fed wants to shorten maturity profile of their portfolio, so it will continue to offload duration to the private sector even post QT. However, the pace of that looks to be very slow. fedguy.com/post-qt-world/

@Kross_Roads I don't think it's 30 P/E, is it? EPS in Q4 without tax credit is 0.5, but this is assuming crypto is doing well, without crypto, it would be discounted to like 0.2-0.3, then a full year's EPS is like 1 and the P/E is like 50.

$HOOD Robinhood is trading at a 32 P/E and grew over 100% y/y. If you were waiting for a sale, this is it.

$HOOD ROBINHOOD LISTS $TRUMP MEMECOIN Here is my raw and unfiltered take as a Robinhood investor who started buying the stock at $8 in December of 2023 and has closely followed the company since then: I absolutely do not care about what people do with their money. If you want to buy a memecoin, so be it. Memecoins are an expression of sentiment just like stocks are, even if stocks have cashflows. However, if you buy a memecoin and it goes to zero, you have to be willing to deal with the ramifications of it, just like if you a buy a stock that has a bad quarter and ends up getting hit badly. $HOOD is doing nothing other than giving people the opportunity to buy it — just like they do for thousands of stocks and other crypto assets like $DOGE $BTC $ETH $SOL. Ultimately, this comes down to individual responsibility. Having said that, if you buy $TRUMP, i hope you buy it on Robinhood 😂😂😂😂 Owning the casino is usually better than being the gambler.
