@elonmusk Elon, in Spain is the same. This week and important trial took place exposing the president. Have a look. x.com/i/status/20495…

@pureFabx @vivoplt Used it since launch. Strong on agentic tasks, better than 5.4 on backend logic. Claude still edges it on the tasks I run specifically but I wouldn't argue hard with someone who disagreed. The race is genuinely close right now.

@vivoplt Claude wins on output quality. Codex wins on not hitting a wall before lunch. At $20 you're picking which frustration you can live with longer.

US fertility rates just hit another record low In 2025, the US general fertility rate fell to 53.1 - the lowest level ever recorded Japan, South Korea, and Germany have already been shrinking for years. Japan has been shrinking for years, South Korea’s population has already started to decline, and Germany would be shrinking without immigration Now the UK joins them - deaths will outnumber births every single year starting in 2026 No economy grows without people No pension system survives without young workers No culture persists without families having children This is the slowest civilizational crisis in human history

@theo The report of Every says that the best thing you can do is plan with Opus 4.7 and then execute with GPT 5.5. That should give you the best combo.

It's so hard to describe the vibe difference between Opus 4.7 and GPT 5.5 (for coding) GPT is smarter and can unblock you, but it gets stuck in stupid ways and strangles itself with context sometimes. Opus will go down the most insane paths and refuse to acknowledge obvious answers, but it understands intent better and has more taste. Whenever I use one for more than an hour, I always reach to the other to "clean up". Best part? All of this changes every few weeks 🙃
