One thing about streaming that sucks is how often people come and go. Learning to let go of people who were once there for a lot of fun milestones and moments is the hardest lesson no one teaches you about streaming. I still think about all those people everyday and hope they’re okay and thriving🤍

May I vent about something? I may delete my self promo channel in my discord server. I truly love celebrating others and supporting my community.. I just.. I dunno.. I am a touch frustrated because the people who post there aren't active anywhere else in my server, hell they don't even visit my streams. They paste their links and go. (To clarify, it is not that they have to come to my streams. I'm just explaining and using it as an example.) It is just frustrating that people just paste their go live stuff there and then that is it. It is like..crickets elsewhere. It's like.. I am sad because I have tried planning fun hang out nights and no one shows up but they just post in the self promo area. That's it. I planned a RE9 night and only 2 people showed up, which isn't inherently bad.. it is just.. Sad. Especially when I put the effort in. I want to do community nights in my server. But how can I when no one really shows but people are quick to use that channel only.. I dunno. I'm sorry for ranting. I just feel.. sad and a bit defeated and a little lonely at times. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not good enough? What can I do to liven up my server? Do I just give up? I don't want to.. 🥺

Has Fortnite’s Skill based matchmaking improved or gotten worse? In my first TWO hours of stream I had 10 unique fights with different streamers. And this is a daily thing this season. I’m curious if an above average player is getting into these same lobbies, because how on earth would they expect that person to have any fun with this matchmaking. Fighting fellow streamers used to be fun, but at this rate it’s genuinely just boring.

I love Fortnite, always have and always will, but the prioritization of new modes, UEFN maps and overall a shift in focus away from BR has been tough to see. Hopefully these mode closures are the first of many steps Epic is taking to bring the focus back to what made Fortnite great in the first place - Battle Royale
