@Deepcoolglobal I would open it from both sides, and checked what inside, under the cooler :) then I would check the PSU and cable management. Then redo all of this and check if it posts :) Then play on it.

I have seen devs create: - *Facade classes that encapsulate nothing - *Service classes that only pass to http client - microservices that are a DB access via HTTP - Shared Kernel within a single team When we are replaced by an AGI it will keep us as very funny pets

@SlackHQ @zachmiller About this... This new section sorting options.. can you make an option, that will allow us to sort things alphabetically in the section, but put channels first, like it was before? Cause now, the alphabetical order mixes the contacts and the channels in the section...

@jnabrdalik @lp_edoardo Slack has an excellent "huddle" feature for such idle "meetings". You can also share two screens at once! Teams are very unstable and eats a lot of resources (and I have problems with sharing anything with it on Linux but that problem is connected to my solution to other problem)

@lp_edoardo That post was about synchronous remote work. What you suggest is async. Slack is limited in it's video + wiki (on git) compared to MS Teams. The list of differences is not for a twitter post. MS Teams does not "share code" :) You can share the screen or use markdown in chat.

This feels awkward but: if you ever have problems with synchronous remote work, use MS Teams. Create room per team, turn on camera, make a habit of always being in a room The rest works exactly as in the office Slack is limited, zoom is primitive, discord is meh, MS Teams is good

ChatGPT is the closest model we have that looks like AGI, but still suffers from hallucination and tends to write plausible-looking bs with uncanny confidence. It could be misleading and even dangerous. Can we fix it? There is a simple & intuitive remedy:🧵

@allenholub @AAsadauskas Plus - working alone increase your chances for procrastinating. It won't happen in pair programming.

@pushpu11 @AAsadauskas Audrius, Well, I find it exhausting to work alone, and I'm a hard-core introvert. In a mob, you can take an hour or two if you really need it, though I haven't seen that very often. I've worked with a lot of ensembles, and they're all 100% introverts, as are most programmers.

Was asked "what are the challenges when doing code review." I see no value in code review. They add context swaps, delay and bottlenecks, damage your feedback loop, and don't usually find much of value to fix. 1/3

@AAsadauskas @allenholub But man, how productive it gets. A 4 hour session of 2 people may be worth a couple of days of alone coding, while being distributed by other stuff, like thinking about this pile of PRs that are waiting for a review... And your head is not really in those topics at the moment...

@allenholub Many Devs find it exhausting to pair or mob all the time. Even when taking regular breaks. I think people find it more relaxing when working alone. Any suggestions?
