Only 15% of America's refused the COVID Vaxx. Kinda terrifying...that means that 85% of people followed the crowd. How many pure bloods are out there?

Who in the world puts peanuts in their coke? Is this a real thing? One of our Japanese friends posted about Americans doing this and I’ve literally never heard of it. 🤯

SOCIALISM or FREE-MARKET? As a representative of San Francisco, which would you bring to Congress? After last night‘s debate/forum I asked the candidates (minus Scott Weiner since he had to leave early for Seder). Here are their responses-

San Francisco public servants are so used to asking for more tax money, they never planned for SF to say no. Every bond gets a new label, but it’s the same pattern with vague promises, weak accountability, no spending discipline. Working people don’t have time to track every dollar, we expect it to be handled. That’s why we hired and paid public servants, to do the work. Yet we’re told there’s "no money" for basic infrastructure, like maintaining the Great Highway for traffic to flow safely. San Francisco has a spending problem. We run one of the largest, most expensive city governments in the country, and still can’t get the basics right. For example, the '49-Mile Scenic Drive' signs are still up almost 2 years after the Great Highway's permanent closure. Wrong information, still left there. Why? Because transparency disappears when the truth is inconvenient. People like Joel Engardio and Lucas Lux don't want people to know the true cost of their 'park.' Politically favored projects get fast tracked. Deficits are ignored. Public scrutiny is minimal. And voters are bombarded with emotional ads about kids, seniors, and parks! Instead of clear facts on spending and cost on 'innovative ideas' politicians want San Francisco to pay. SF needs public servants who respect every tax dollar and work within the budget, not a system that assumes people will keep paying without asking questions.

Have you ever seen someone washing a car in San Francisco? Me neither. When was the last time anyone actually washed their own car here? I can’t remember ever seeing it happen. This photo was taken at the intersection of Lombard and Jones in the early 1970s.
