This father has asked the mother to meet him half way when picking up his son. She choose a parking lot location but refuses to get out of the car to make sure the boy makes it to his dad safely. If it wasn't for the dad getting out of his car, the son could have possibly been hit by other cars walking over to his car. What I take from this is that her hatred for the dad out weighs the safety for their son. And the son is excited to see his daddy each time. What do you see?

Copilot as a brand and product should go the way of Bard with a more narrow focus on tasks it excels at. However, wrt "It solves a problem that doesn't exist", there are plenty of problems that exist for windows users that could be solved with a better product. Copilot sucks because not only is it typical buggy MSFT but they were really early and the product didn't keep up with the market.

🦔 Microsoft is reportedly backing away from plans to add more Copilot integrations to Windows 11. According to Windows Central, the company scrapped Copilot Suggestions in notifications and removed Copilot branding from AI features in Settings and File Explorer. The decision followed backlash over Windows Recall, which cybersecurity experts viewed as a privacy threat. Microsoft still rolled out Recall last April and continues to add AI features to Windows, but the agentic capabilities previewed in 2024 were stripped from the final versions. The company is reportedly shifting focus toward system stability and fixing longstanding bugs. My Take Microsoft spent two years developing these features, previewed them publicly, and then quietly killed them because users hated the idea. That's a significant course correction for a company that's been pushing AI into every product as fast as possible. The Recall backlash seems to have actually gotten their attention. I think what's happening here is that Microsoft learned there's a difference between AI features people want and AI features that are just there because AI is the company strategy. Copilot in notifications is a good example. Nobody asked for an AI to read their notifications and offer suggestions. It solves a problem that doesn't exist while creating new concerns about what data is being processed and where. They're stripping Copilot branding from features and removing agentic capabilities because the aggressive AI push was backfiring. Whether this lasts or they just wait for the backlash to die down before trying again is an open question. Hedgie🤗
