We are aware of intermittent issues that have been causing trouble for users on our US cluster and we have been working on them. At the moment, the cluster is stable, but there may be further incidents. We are monitoring the situation

The networking issues affecting Always-on tasks should be all fixed now.

We're having issues with our Always-on tasks in the US based system (EU is not affected). We're working on it...

We are planning a system update for 6 am UTC on Thurs 9 July. This will only affect our US-hosted systems at www[.]pythonanywhere[.]com, including websites hosted there; our EU-hosted system and websites hosted there will not be affected.

10 minutes to our planned EU update at eu[.]pythonanywhere[.]com. We expect to be down for about 20 minutes. US system will not be affected.

We are scheduling a systems upgrade on eu[.]pythonanywhere[.]com on 2026-06-23 at 20:00 PM UTC. We expect approximately 20 min of downtime. This will not affect our US system.

Ok. Things are getting back to normal. We're just waiting for the networking on some always on machines to recover

We have some hardware failures for some of our machines. Some always on tasks, some scheduled tasks and some SSH connections in our US cluster will be affected

To our astonishment, we discovered it was not set to auto-renew. It is now.

Our domain (pythonanywhere.com) expired, we noticed that and resolved it quickly, so it's fixed now. However you may still be getting the expired version from a cache for some time. Sorry for the disruption!

We were having issues with our US-based system, but it looks like we've identified a way to fix it, and it should be fine now.
