You owe 7.2k in tax even if you never sold a single sat. This isnt an attack on crypto. Its an attack on the very idea of holding assets outside their system. EU data sharing already went live. They know what you have. And now they want a yearly cut just for the privilege of existing. One passport used to be enough. It isnt anymore. The exit doors are still open. For now.

In a BV you control when you pay Box 2 (payout). In Box 3 you get taxed even when you don’t cash out.
