@bhargreaves I remember you telling me the story about this building back in the day. It is still one of my favorite buildings in the city. In terms of evil lairs I would also consider summering in this new Downtown Brooklyn tower.

Today's Crowdstrike outage reminded me of one of my favorite stories about a single point of failure And it involves one of the most fascinating buildings in the US, the windowless AT&T Long Lines building at 33 Thomas Street in Tribeca, Manhattan 🧵

🐟 So today I found a goldfish just on the grass in my back garden. It was alive, I think, and have absolutely no idea where it came from. There’s no ponds anywhere near. So I took it inside….
