Afternoon daydreams? This is actually a quote from “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. #YouJustStartedaBook

@Phil82080593 @larymary60 Actually I was made redundant through Covid and took early retirement. I now work as a volunteer for a local animal rescue where all volunteers are unpaid and all money raised/received goes towards medication, food and vets fees. So my answer is YES

@qqueenpp @larymary60 Do you work for nothing ?
And if you paid peanuts you would get monkeys
English

@PeakrillChris @larymary60 A heck of a lot of people give there time and experience to charities for free this usually incurs a cost to them with travel / transport etc
English

@qqueenpp @larymary60 How do you imagine charities run off they cannot pay their staff?

@cathymwafer @Peachyfruitcake @SadiqKhan Nothing to do with racism - our country can’t cope with NHS,housing, benefits and jobs we are really struggling without this influx

@Peachyfruitcake @SadiqKhan France take 3 times & Germany 10 times more than the UK.
English

This is an utter tragedy. No one should have to risk their life in this way.
Those seeking sanctuary need safe routes - the Government must work with the French authorities to provide them.

Beverley, England 🇬🇧 English

@EE really disappointed with the service in Beverley I have struggling for months with a reception at my home - I work for a charity on an emergency support calling one day a week and I can’t ever take calls without loosing signal - can I cancel my husbands and mine contract pls?

@Stuart14035886 @GBNEWS Why is it ok to visit a call in centre or the hospital but not your GP are other medical partners exempt from the fear of Covid or is it that only GPs can catch Covid? GPs are no different to everyone else who has worked through the pandemic and they should all be vaccinated too!

@pkonline84 @Jacob_Rees_Mogg It would be nice to have a choice though - my husband tried to see his GP and got told he would be called a week on the following Thursday at 3pm, my husband is 74 and has some health problems.

@GBNEWS Maybe the money will help with the pending criminal case? So easy to judge!!

@christhemusic Why on earth are drs still not allowing patients into surgery’s- this is so bad . They need to get their big girl knickers on and get back to work full time!!!!
English

In the 1960s, when there were 43 GPs per 100,000 people, you could walk in unannounced during surgery hours and get to see a doctor.
Now that there are 60 GPs per 100,000 you can wait 3 weeks for a phone consultation.

Food shop this morning. Can't get lemons, chillis, parsley, spring onions, aubergines, cumin, almonds, bottled water, beans, feta, haloumi, basil, soy sauce and risotto rice. Meanwhile, Dad's in Belgium, no issue, Mum in Italy, no issues.
WHAT COULD THIS BE?
#BrexitFoodShortages
English

@GBNEWS Why? Because there are too many chiefs abd not enough Indians - money is wasted left right and centre. We have just thrown out boxes of out of date supplement drinks that were sent to my husband after a major operation. He didn’t ask for them,
