It has been 795 day's ago now. That should be 2 years + 65 days. And I can't still forgot my first ever airdrop and dark moment of my life. 6th February 2024. Was one of my happiest moments. But here is what makes that February the saddest and blackest moments of my life. After mavia heros did there airdrop and TGE at same day. I couldn't claim because I don't have gas fee. If you have been a fan of ETH. you will understand how ETH gas fee frustrate life. I planned to claim it the next if I get gas fee. Fast forward to the next day being feb 7th. My friends blink told me he was sick that I should help him to hospital for lab checkup and treatment. No much sickness just typhoid and malaria. He took his treatment and the nurse told him to comeback around 5 pm evening. To collect another injection. That's where it begin. To cut the story shot. I left his place and went home. Immediately I got home, I got a call that my cousin brother has died of liver cancer. I wept and go to Villa so we can bury him immediately. It didn't end there. After we buried him. I went back to my base. Me and my bloodline which is my guy blink. We gist together communicate and laugh. Suddenly it begin like a movie to me. He told me his body is getting weak. I thought he was joking. But, No he is serious. We left our place to their house. His parents are the only ones at home, non of his elderly ones are home that day. He is the last born. I took him to bathroom and bath him. Not much longer. Fast forward to around 8pm February 7th 2024. The day begins to get more dark to me. My body begins to shake. Fear of losing someone closest to me begin. Blink eye begin getting deep and deeper. We took him to one hospital named, Bex memorial hospital 🏥. It's one of the biggest hospitals in our place. The nurse there tried their best. Around 10: 05 pm. Everywhere become dark. I can't even talk, I can't shout. There's nothing I could do. Watching my bro laying down on hospital bed. 0 breathing 0 communication. All I keep saying is. Blink, blink, blink, blink, blink, blink. No answer. I couldn't be myself, tears flow in my eyes like an Ocean. River is understatement to me that day. Holding my guy in his right hand and watching him die, was one of the biggest hit of my life. There is nothing I can do. I just looked at him in tears. Let's not talk about his mother/father. They cried and his mom nearly took her life. Because Blink is like the bread winner of his family, a 22 year old boy who cares and loves his family, even though he is the last born. He wasn't born weak or raise weak. He was born strong and raised strong. But, death doesn't care if you are strong or weak. It will take you. No matter how strong you are. You will surely die. And there is only two ways to die. Either you die young or old. But young will never be our portion. So. on 6th February 2024. I made my first airdrop but I couldn't claim because of gas fee. On 7th. I lost my cousin brother and my closest friend. So on 8th we buried blink in his father's home. On 9. I still couldn't claim. For God so love me. On 10th I finally claim my airdrop by then it worth $117. Which is N187k then. 24 hours ath then is $9.8. After p2p. I go to market. Bought myself an alcohol and some food stuffs to cook. After done. I drank my drink and told myself Dear; JIMMYCLARK. Nothing last forever. 7 February 2024. A year and day I can never forget. It appears in my memory like it happened yesterday.
