@NYCMayor We wish we had you in Illinois. We need to get rid of our condominium association. The condo owners have been threatened and they live in fear. I’m supposed to have an investigator, but they haven’t responded. Over five years of being a target. We also have disabilities.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s illegal for landlords to: - Lock you out or evict you without a court order. - Shut off your heat, hot water, electricity, or other essential services to force you out of your home. - Retaliate against you for reporting unsafe conditions or exercising your tenant rights. - Leave serious health and safety hazards, like mold, unrepaired. - Discriminate against you because of your race, disability, or other protected characteristics.
