Very unpopular opinion but I think the club is right to stop and consider about this Harley extension, if he’s not even willing to budge on anything other than a 2 + 9 deal at 2M a season, then I can understand if we think it’s in our best interest to trade him this off season. As much as it’d hurt losing him now, it’d hurt a lot more at the end of 2028 when we inevitably lose him for much less. Credit to his management group because they’ve put us in a spot where we either give him what he wants or we’re the reason he’s gone, can frame it as if he was super keen to stay etc. Interested to see how this evolves

@AJG_87 Agree all other than chesser. He’s not afl standard. I think the same for Bazzo personally but doubt we find enough depth in defense to cover the problem back there so 1 more chance.

Couldn’t care less on Newton, if Cole gets another contract - that’s fine as long as he’s in the WAFL and purely kept as depth.

Think Erasmus is a no-brainer. We’re currently running with makeshift midfield at AFL level and using top ups in our WAFL midfield rotation. We just need more mids on our list, through both the draft and trade. At minimum a cheap option to help improve our midfield depth.
