I can write an atheist argument for moral laws but it would be from a collectivist frame. Most atheists are also individualists so I'm dubious they would think of this angle.

Let’s take it as a given that we “have” to address Iran. We don’t want them having nukes, funding terrorists, etc.
The country is larger than Texas and full of mountains. Horrible to invade.
Ok but do we need to do that? What if we just strangle it?
We blockade or control the SoH in some way. This forces other gulf nations to build other routes by re-alignment of incentives. Make Iran so much of a hassle to deal with that it’s worthwhile building other routes.
Then once alternatives are built, insurance just raises premiums on ships so high that going through the SoH is not economically viable.
Then Iran is incentivized to either moderate and play ball or just keep slipping into economic disrepair until revolutions become more likely over time. Or they don’t and they stay crippled indefinitely.
So long as we don’t need to win “now”, we win.

Schrodinger's Strait: Oil can't go through the strait because Iran won't allow it, but the US will charge fees because the US controls it. So is the war over? Only Monday through Friday during market hours. Then it's war as usual on Saturday & Sunday. It's a pile of lies.

The have a Black female vet who teaches pole dancing that has a 100% disability rating on Financial audit today. She wouldn't say for what, because its fraud. Can someone for the love of God audit these people and start putting them in jail? If this was any other group they would go to jail for blatant fraud.
How is she teaching pole dancing while being disabled? What job could she of possibly had that gave her PTSD?
