1/ The future of music is being shaped by advancements in the applications of blockchain and AI technologies. These innovations promise to tackle long-standing challenges and unlock new opportunities for musicians, artists, and creators. Blockhain enhances transparency and efficiency, while AI can provide sophisticated tools for insights and creativity. I recently had a catch up with a team that is taking a very interesting approach to shake up the music industry, aiming to create a dynamic, fair, and an artist friendly future with enhanced experiences for fans. Let's set the overall industry framework first..

ya, so 2020 basically reflects that the votes were up ~21% compared to '16. The largest growth prior to that as from '04 to '08 with an increase of ~8 mill votes; '20 surpasses this by over 50%! This is z score for '20 of above 2. That's more than 2 std deviations above the mean Democratic vote count across other years. That is like being struck by lightning and surviving... And if we run some v basic back of the napkin numbers like a variability calc (anova) we see a high f ratio which reflects that the variance between prior years and '20 and now '24 (even though not yet final) is larger than we'd expect by random chance alone... also w/'24 looking like it's returning to the Democrat historical trend, this is further evidence of an outlier in '20 and a deviation rather than a part of some trend or even the result of the Covid and related policies effects... maybe in Jan @realDonaldTrump assigns a small team to dig a bit to deconstruct what happened, the specific processes, and ensure we establish best practices, guards and protections for the future... process optimisation @elonmusk
