The 2-4 hours you spend scrolling each day (or 730-1460 hours each year) is more than enough time to write a book, build a business, or get in shape. In the moment, it seems like nothing. That's why it's so dangerous. Your time disappears without you being conscious of it.

Wow, $SIVE to be listed in the MSCI Global Small Cap Index. This is overwhelmly positively as it triggers more passive inflows as the MC grows. Rebalancing takes places May 29th.

@aleabitoreddit Now it’s also being listed to the MSCI Small Cap Index. Swedish article: di.se/live/kursraket…

She had him FIRED over this. He was working a second job as the overnight gym attendant to help support his two little girls. I talked to him, called the gym, got him his job back, and helped pay off some of his bills for him. More important she was BANNED from the gym!

Burny - Effective Curiosity
In algorithmic information theory (a subfield of computer science and mathematics), the "Kolmogorov complexity of an object, such as a piece of text, is the length of a shortest computer program (in a predetermined programming language) that produces the object as output. It is a measure of the computational resources needed to specify the object, and is also known as algorithmic complexity, Solomonoff–Kolmogorov–Chaitin complexity, program-size complexity, descriptive complexity, or algorithmic entropy. It is named after Andrey Kolmogorov, who first published on the subject in 1963 and is a generalization of classical information theory."

Trafikten kaçmak için yasak olmasına rağmen otobüs yoluna giren sürücüler hiç beklemedikleri bir sürprizle karşılaşıyor. Yolun bitiş noktasında yavaşlayan otobüsten aşağıya polisler iniyor ve yola giren tüm sürücülere kaçma imkanı tanımadan teker teker trafik cezası yazıyor.

Kudos to @AirFranceKLM. They destroyed my wife’s suitcase (stuff happens), so we trudged to the service desk. I was hoping for some duct tape and expected to fill out a form where, maybe, they’d send me twenty bucks in six weeks or so. Nope! The friendly and efficient clerk apologized for the damage, measured our suitcase, went into the back room, and returned with a brand-new suitcase, the same size, still in the shrink wrap. We swapped the contents right there and rolled out of baggage claim with the new suitcase. Nicely done. That’s the sort of service I’d expect from Singapore Air, not a European carrier. (By the way, what happened to @SamsoniteUSA? Apparently they’re no longer gorilla-proof…)

“oring theory” is true on the individual cognition level especially at high levels of skill. minor differences in energy levels, stamina, focus, emotional stability etc change what you are capable of by orders of magnitude

I pick a theme I’m extraordinarily bullish on, then I pick the most compelling players to long. The largest upside theme is CPO over the next two years, I have extraordinarily high confidence in that statement. I think memory is tail end of supercycle where returns are probably less but still compelling. Long term 5+ years it’s space and humanoids. There’s little trades in between like glass substrate shifts with $LPK over next 6 months.

I think $SIVE ends up $10B+ next year and can scale to $40B+ in 2028 if they play their cards right. Really depends on how ambitious management is if they want to become the next $LITE. But this is exactly how Lumentum started owning the laser chokepoint then IP acquisition downstream to capture more TAM.
