Queen's University Archives will be closed to the public from during this period while staff completing a shelf read of our vaults to ensure that our records are complete and to review the condition of the vaults and collections.

The first page of the diary transliterated and translated with support from the Digital Alfred Bader Fund. It is an exceptional individual source from the period of internment of minor refugees / deportees in Canada.

The funding also supported transitioning all 1,122 digitized files to the Queen’s University Library Digital Collections platform as planned and giving a Queen’s undergraduate student, the Digital Alfred Bader Intern, experience in enhancing the metadata to increase access.
