@Diagbso @ojvhteuhyhes I don’t think housing should be a commodity or a source of profit. If you have the unearned privilege of being bought a flat by your parents in London ( absurd privilege btw) least you can do is let someone stay for free in your spare room tbh or just live there by yourself

City Hall has released Mayor Zohran Mamdani's 2025 tax return, filed jointly with his wife, First Lady Rama Duwaji. The return shows they made $144,784 in joint gross income. Duwaji, a visual artist, only pulled in $10,010 of that, the return shows.

got issued section 21 last year bc he was apparently selling only for him to relist the week we left for £4k. happy to report he had to drop it back down to the £2.4k a month we were paying after about 6 months of no rental income bc the price was obscene. silver linings and that
