49yrs ago today Assata Shakur was convicted by an all-white jury for killing an NJ cop and later sentenced to life + 33. She'd only spend another 2 yrs in prison, when her comrades came & broke her out. Liberated.
She died 9/25/2025. RIP to one of the realest.
