As a FNAF fan, I'll tell you what I got out of it.
1) Seeing some of the most iconic Animatronics come to life. Not only are they designed perfectly, they made sense in the storyline.
2) answers to some long questioned lore. I'm satisfied with what I learned
3) Afton is on demon time
4) a fun, well acted piece of media. I laughed, I was jumpscared, I went through a range of emotions and most importantly I came out of the theatre with a smile on my face.
That's what I, a "FNAF fan" got out of it.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 is only marginally better than the first but that amounts to little. The plot is incomprehensible, it treats the audience like they are dumb, it’s not scary, and I’m not sure what fans would even get out of this. Full review on @DiscussingFilm tomorrow!
