For someone who doesn't consider himself a particularly devout Christian, I guess I still get pretty emotional when I hear people articulate the tenets of their faith in a way that actually brings hope and reassurance, with the modesty to remain uncertain and open to change.

Filipino actress Sue Prado, known for her performances in Philippine New Wave cinema, including Oro and Barber's Tales, has died at the age of 44, her family confirmed in a Facebook post. She was also active in film, television, and theater, and was a recognized figure in the independent film scene through the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. Among her notable recent works were her Cinemalaya Best Supporting Actress win for Kantil and her role in Padamlagan.
