@JumpyFeller Yeah no, it's nowhere near those games. I think people really had high hopes at the time and Zero didn't meet those expectations. The controller learning curve was just one part of it and exponentialize the bad sentiments towards it.

The one game that deserves the recent 'revisionism'. This game *was* good (still flawed). We were just too weak to see it. Reviewers were wrong. Woz was wrong. Nerrel was HELLA wrong. And fans were wrong.

visual novels are the foundation of your favorite narrative games today, always innovating games as a whole. put some respect on the genre. Hideo Kojima said a visual novel inspired him to work in games. Final Fantasy or JRPGS wouldn’t exist without visual novels.

@GenePark idk man those aren’t invalid or bad but they sound like visual novels. it’s a passive experience and the controller is basically just turning the page in a book watching a let’s play of mixtape is the same experience as playing it. but playing a game like tetris != watching it

@popcultvre Sí exacto es una experiencia interactiva que no es novedad en los juegos. Pero al recibir muchos 10 de muchos diferentes "críticos" pues si te deja pensando de la razón y pues mucha gente no está de acuerdo. No creo que sea mayor ciencia y también hay gente que solo tira hate
