Ananya pandey's "Bharatnatyam " shows how the industry is insensitive to classical arts, how they mock it and the audacity to put it up publicly on a screen. Unfortunately in India there is no mechanism to sue those who mock classical arts. Its very fluid which makes anyone do any crap with it.
💔This is absolutely horrific. A 10-year-old girl abducted, assaulted, and murdered in Sulur, Coimbatore. The fact that the Inspector General, Ramya Bharathi, was seen laughing and joking during the press conference about this tragedy is beyond comprehension.
"Who said that...", US Secretary of State Rubio in response to my question on racism agaisnt Indians in US.
US President Donald Trump had endorsed a post terming India "Hellhole"
He is the next contender for American presidency. He has been pro India (& anti China) in past. Not to mention that unlike conventional American visits he isn’t visiting Pakistan.
Hope Indians can embrace Chankyaniti and utilize the opportunity.
as a westerner, I am ashamed @SecRubio 1st stop in India was "Mother's" Quarters Kolkata. A woman who converted innocent oprhans & dyings to her religion. Shows how ignorant @realDonaldTrump administration remains of greatness of #Bharat
The operative covered the ear for couple of seconds due to a minigun firing just couple of feet away from his face and he will have to do a ship clearing op post landing.
Aur lo ji ban gaya mudda ! Fauj to ear protection nahi de rahi special forces ko !
Who will tell the group was not carrying their kits to US.
And if that basic thing can't be understood how you gonna make them understand that COMTACS in jungle warfare can get you killed.
Things will escalate where doctrines will start getting discussed and in the end everything will boil down to you guys just want to import 🤣
Absolutely horrifying 🤯
This is how filthy the water has become in the United States for people living near Meta’s data centre.
Water levels have dropped drastically, with very little pressure in the pipelines.
Even people in rural areas are now forced to buy water not just for drinking but for bathing as well.
Data centres require huge amounts of water for cooling. This is potentially what could happen to water resources in surrounding areas.
India needs to be mindful of this before we build more data centres.
Mr Umar Khalid has again been denied bail -- not even interim bail for 15 days to assist his mother during a scheduled medical procedure.
Justice Krishna Iyer's dictum was laid down in 1977. It may be perhaps found only in textbooks and presumably not applicable to real cases and real accused.
The Trial Courts seem to think that 'we shall oblige the police and send the accused to jail and let the accused secure bail from the higher Courts (HC and SC).
This is abdication of duty. If the Trial Courts did their work and applied the law, the burden on the High Courts and the Supreme Court will reduce considerably
And so many thousands of under-trials will not languish in prison without charges being framed, without a trial and without a punishment
It is rightly said that 'the process is the punishment'
