🚨 IMPORTANT PSA FOR SPORTS BETTING CONTENT CREATORS 🚨 Multiple sports betting accounts have recently been suspended on X, including several well-known cappers and betting brands. After reviewing X’s current policies, here’s what we know: X says compensated promotions, affiliate deals, referral codes, discount codes and sponsored content should be disclosed using its Content Disclosure / Paid Partnership tools. However, using that label does NOT guarantee protection from suspension. X has not publicly confirmed whether these recent bans were caused by undisclosed promotions, affiliate activity, spam enforcement or something else. If you continue posting affiliate links, promo codes, sportsbook or DFS offers, or other compensated content, consider using the proper disclosure label as an added precaution but do NOT assume the label automatically makes the post safe. Until more information becomes available, creators may want to evaluate any active affiliate promotions, referral campaigns, sponsored content or other commercial partnerships they are running and determine their own level of risk. This is not a warning against posting picks, analysis, betting slips, or normal sports betting discussion. Based on the information available right now, the focus appears to be on promotional and compensated content rather than organic content. Also, do not rely on one platform. Continue expanding your audience across Discord, email lists, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other platforms. If your account was suspended and X sent you an email, violation notice or explanation, please reach out and share it with us. Remove any personal information first if needed. The more real information we collect from affected accounts, the easier it will be to identify what these suspensions have in common and help protect the community.
