@SulavKarki The ones that are scratching their heads are those who, for whatever reason, still want to persist with the old failed guards. Others have already realized that we have no choice other than try the new and hope that they don't disappoint.

I genuinely do not understand how some people are scratching their heads when they hear many Nepalis might vote for a new party this election after being fed up by decades of mis governance by NC, UML and Maoists (now NCP). Majority of Nepalis are not party members and many voted for these same parties because they really had no choice and they hoped parties will do better which didn’t happen. So, it is natural for them to want to vote for new parties and hope they will deliver and if they don’t they will opt for other choices.

@EmEm1593 I don't particularly agree with all of your opinions. Yes, a team like PNG or Japan could have qualified from the EAP. But, I don't think the goal is just to play the world cup. These teams need to improve as well. Playing with asian associates gives them an added exposure. ++

Japan should’ve been at the T20 World Cup — the unofficial EAP champions robbed by politics, not cricket. UAE & Nepal’s lobbying made ICC merge EAP with Asia, taking away a rightful WC spot. Imagine Italy 🇮🇹 and Japan 🇯🇵 both on the world stage — a true global boost for the game!

@hellokostya One who qualifies for the candidates, comes out on top, goes to the WC match, and beats the existing champion is a world champion. Anyone who disagrees can qualify for the same and beat the existing WC. It's as simple as that.
