That team was not good, by a long shot. SF fired a coach who's worst season was 8-8, for Kelly and Tomsula.

Why did Harbaugh choose a 1st read QB over Alex Smith? Smith couldn't score Tds and could convert 3rd downs. Its why Akers is the all-time season pts leader.

@Jetlagswagg @FBGreatMoments I can't completely disagree, but most of that stands on the team accomplishments of Superbowls. Ben is one spot better in all-time TDs than Rivers. Rivers has better all-time passing yards than both but his HOF chances seem far behind the other two. Eli's last name helps alot.
