For more context, systemd v259 that already comes with a lot of Linux systems is fine from the age assurance as this Pull Request (PR) only affects v260 and later.

The MCMC has urged Apple users to update their iOS devices immediately after multiple security vulnerabilities were discovered.
The regulator said the update fixes several flaws, including the DarkSword exploit chain affecting iPhones, which could enable unauthorised access, spyware installation and data theft.

Newer iPhones come with iOS 26. The DarkSword exploit only affects iOS 18.4 and 18.7.
