Stanford MSA is paying $5k + expenses for someone to lead Taraweeh this Ramadan.
Some of my Hafidh friends are getting $5K, $7K, even $10K+ for a month of recitation.
Better than some SWE internships.
Islam is growing in the West. Masjids are expanding. Ramadan programs are increasing.
But there aren’t enough people to lead.
For years, we were told a CS degree was the safest bet. But when Ramadan comes, it’s the Huffadh who are in demand.
Masjids need leaders. Communities need guidance. The shortage is real.
At some point, we have to ask:
is an Islamic education more valuable than a CS degree?

@forensicmoves @Simsimiyyah You can’t hold the layman accountable when the ones who have authority are lacking. I will never blame the layman. I will always blame the ppl of knowledge and AUTHORITY ( masjid board members) that allow for this to occur. They are the ones laymen look up to for direction
English

@r_eemaaaa @Simsimiyyah men refuse to enforce segregation so let's take pictures with shawn mendes lmao, let's not beat around the bush here look at the quotes and the comments, is anyone talking about the masjid's segregation issue?
English

Too many questions and I don’t wanna know the answers.

@forensicmoves @Simsimiyyah It’s simply not possible in anyway to dictate every single person’s actions. But what we can do is hold the people who are in authority accountable as they have ALLOWED this to happen. Had masjid boards set a standard and enforced it, this would not have happened to begin with

@ecw787_ @DrShadeeElmasry Here’s the thing. You disturb and invalidate our rejoicing cus you don’t like the “rebels.” The entire world had over 50 years to help us out and show us what they’ve got. But everyone ignored us. And we weren’t gonna ask jolani to not liberate us💀💀
English

@DrShadeeElmasry I don't think anyone should be happy Assad is gone. Assad was a brutal dictator, but having rebels who are financed and supported by Israel doesn't sit right with me. These so called "revolutions" only have one country who benefits from this, that is Israel.

@Tsunalyst Naaaaah we aren’t forgiving him nor will we let him forget the mockery he’s made outta Syrians💀💀
English

In a few days this filthy individual will likely come back to shed a few tears and issue a statement on how he’s always been on the side of the revolution but didn’t express it for «pragmatic» purposes, with his lapdog cheering for him as usual. Never forget these.

Don’t forget about this Munaafiq priest.
English

@Simsimiyyah We will never forgive him. Imagine alluding to a nation which the angels have been commanded to protect as a “humiliated” nation. It’s an honor enough we’ve been praised by nabi ﷺ
English

I wonder how he feels right now… 😁

@Saifullah9001 Salafis forcefully reposition you MID SALAH if you don’t pray according to their taqleed💀💀 I’d rather someone recite salawat on the prophet than violate my privacy

Never seen begs like sufis.
They always have to scream their biddah and shirk at the haram.

@Smokee910145 @ibnfulaaan No clearly you didn’t see his comment saying he’s anti mawlids. If I have to explain the side ur defending then I’d just not get involved in the thread

Poor Sahaba, they never got to experience this
عبد📿@aspiringabd
I feel so sorry for those who haven't experienced Mawlids. The ecstasy in one's heart listening to Qasā'id about the Beloved Prophet ﷺ and learning about him
English

@abroundercover No literally? Did we forget about Hassan ibn thaabit or something 😭😭
English

Yes the Sahaba famously made no poems praising the Prophet ﷺ

@udaaslarkaa When I’ve asked for a certification on multiple occasions, they either denied showing me the certification or said they didn’t have one. So just a heads up for my Z keepers
