Things we learned from Man City 3-0 Chelsea: - Last week, we learned Pep has found his best starting XI. This week, we now know he’s going to stick with it. - Rayan Cherki is world class. Every week, he amazes us with goals, assists, and incredible technical ability. - We are solid! Three clean sheets in a row against Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea show how good we are defensively. - Nico O’Reilly again with a goal and a clean sheet. He’s really in contention for PFA Player of the Year. - We have proved we are serious in this title race, and we will do everything we can to hunt Arsenal down and beat them to the title. - The first half showed we can still be a bit sloppy in possession and struggle to break teams down, but a positive is that we were able to change that and came out with real purpose in everything we did in the second half.

Tomorrow’s game against Chelsea is now massive. The league title is back in our hands, and a win tomorrow will put us six points off the top with a game in hand. Every game was always a must win, but with Arsenal losing, it’s a different kind of pressure. A pressure that some players have never felt before. City travel to London to face Chelsea in the Sunday late kick off as the Premier League returns this weekend City are unbeaten in their last 5 visits to Stamford Bridge and unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions against Chelsea. It’s the kind of form they need in order to maintain their pursuit of Arsenal in the race for the title with no room for error As normal with Pep, he likes to make few changes at this stage of the season so expect the line up to have a familiar look to it. It promises to be a big weekend in the title race.

1. Aesthetics I’ve never seen a 26 year old with a hairline as hideous as #25. It actually makes me doubt he is 26 and there is a real risk that he is a 38 year old masquerading as a 26 year old to prey on the young boys in our academy. @metpolice please look into this.
