@rmdeva @bakthisaran If you are not able to find the effective length of your tonearm, it is nothing but the distance between the spindle and pivot point of the stylus. Here is a picture

@rmdeva @bakthisaran One important point I missed is that protractor template has to match you tonearms effective length. You can get the effective length of your tonearm from the specifications. (1/2)

After spending several hours with the turntable in pursuit of sound quality.. the results are stunning... The soundstage and the resolution is incredible. Here are some samples...

@rohitsabu_ No worries.. 🙂I am glad that you were able to find the playback speed. I can only imagine how annoying it will be to hear the songs 1.5 times faster.

@raaja4ever You are absolutely right, this was my mistake entirely. At some point I had set video playback on some news I was watching to 1.5x, and that appears to have carried over to all videos played on X without any indication. Sorry about the confusion.

Recorded this last week. The vinyl setup sounds very very good. I still think there is more details in the groove. Back to this track. Notice the Bass, the Guitar plucking tone, the instrument separation. The groove noise is greatly reduced. More tweaks required.

@rohitsabu_ I do not think it is sped up. The Turntable has a motor controller to ensure 33 1/3 RPM. In addition to that, I ensure the selected speed is maintained by using a tool as this (see the attachment) . If this track is sped up, others should also have the same issue.

@arvindhkannan Thank you! The trick is to do the cleanup before applying RIAA. Doing after is going to severely alter the quality

@raaja4ever Yes right. We might need to sacrifice either of them to get a good quality output from a vinyl which is already in a bad shape. Only person to get it as intended to listen is by Raaja himself if the masters are preserved. Listened to other posts as well. Sounds really good 🙌

I'd love to clean these tracks but stuck with my i3 and ryzen 5 (still managed to experiment). recording is so neat

Another album with exceptional quality . Superb soundstage, clarity and separation with the instruments

You can hear the rumble noise behind the track. Wanted to find out ways to reduce that. I understand it might be reduced on turntable platters with air bearing.

Here is Part - 2. Notice the micro details. Even the electronic instruments used as percussion is very clear.

Here is another album. The Bass is simply unbelievable.

@bakthisaran @rmdeva You should be able to locate a video of the turntable (that you have) being used to setup the cartridge. Please be patient and take your time when performing this task. Especially when handling the cartridge. Let me know if you have questions. - The End -
