When I met @minnieportable for the first time, we were in a loud ass line-dancing bar in San Diego. We were talking about streaming and she had been doing it just as long, if not longer than me, and wasn’t getting the recognition I thought she deserved. I remember ignorantly saying “I don’t even know why!” Because she is witty, entertaining, and relatable - and without missing a beat she responded “I do.” I knew what she meant instantly. That stuck with me. Over the years since, I consciously take any privilege I have to try and help others without being loud about it. Minnie bringing it up and defending me in her YouTube video means more than I can voice. Pick your people in this space wisely. 🩷
