Greenfield Police were alerted to a wanted semi tractor trailer at 6am on Saturday morning. The cargo was stolen from Pennsylvania on Thursday and police believed the driver was on Interstate 70 westbound entering Hancock County. Police located the semi and arrested the driver 31-year-old Deepak Kumar who said he was from Fresno, California. He is accused of using fraudulent documents to obtain 40,000 pounds of Tungsten Oxide Powder that was being shipped to Japan. The value is $2,857,500.00 and was being shipped to Mitsubishi Materials Corporation in Japan. A search warrant for the truck and trailer was issued and officers confirmed the stolen cargo was in the trailer. After being forced to listen to two Muslim employees speak in a foreign language across the aisle, I now get to hear two Indian men speak in Hindi. I’m in the freaking South, y’all. I’ve now heard Arabic, Hindi, and Spanish, which was spoken by two men who look like they work in construction, as well as a family with a few anchor babies. Between the foreigners and obvious transplants, I have yet to hear a Southerner. This is outrageous. We didn’t vote for this. Get these people out of our country.
