@racedcoaching Training is going really well. We are starting bin to the Canadian winter, so there isn't too much for races over the next 3-4 months. Next race is a 50k ultra called Pick Your Poison held the last Sat of April. This will be my 5th time running. A very challenging course. 😀🏃‍♂️

A great way to end the 2021 racing season with a blast out at the Telford 10k this morning. Dipped under 33 minutes for the first time in a decade with 32:56. Im now looking forward to helping all the Raced Coaching athletes through their winter training.

@RunningDave89 @UKRunChat Check out the Hoka Challenger ATR or Speedgoat, they are both good door to trail shoes. There’s also the Brooks Caldera which is very similar.

It was great to be racing over 10k again today. Season opener at the Newport 10k this morning. It was a great race, great course and a very competitive field. 5th over 40 and 21st overall.

Rather than 5km.. 5km.. 5km.. I'm going to try to up the distance a bit by doing 30 mins.. 30 mins.. 30 mins.. etc It might not seem a lot but hopefully it's a way to rack up a few more km and shouldn't affect work/life/home balance too much. #Running #RunningDiary

@DadsRuns Wow. Naturally doing more miles and more specific marathon work you should see even more improvements. Running every day has obviously kept consistency and a great level of fitness.

@racedcoaching Mostly 🤣😅 I'm a bit strange with running will run all day but struggle with sticking to training programmes. I run every day at lunch (30 mins) then just when I can at weekends. 90% of my runs are 5ks
