Mark Sanford has dropped out of the SC 1st District race after a month and will start a nonprofit aimed at tackling the federal debt. He says he can do more outside Congress. postandcourier.com/politics/mark-…

@yardtalkhbcu This is patently false, yet congrats on the click bait. Your second article is from 2023- remind me who was President? Your senile buddy, Biden.

The state of South Carolina owes SCSTATE $500 million and we didn’t forget y’all tried to close the school…The Biden-Harris administration set record highs for HBCU funding…Stop lying…

Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette@PamelaEvette
Let’s be clear: facts trump feelings in the real world. President @realDonaldTrump and conservatives have done more for HBCUs than any administration in history. Here is my response to the protests today at S.C. State University.
English

@RepAdamMorgan Amen! Why are we funding an institution with a 17% graduation rate?
English

@ftate2 @michaelw_13 @IAmNickReynolds @wachfox It’s motherfucker, hon. Spelling- one of many courses you failed, allegedly.

SC State President Alexander Conyers speaking to the students and announcing he has rescinded Lt. Governor Pamela Evette’s invitation to speak at next weeks graduation.
Check out him speaking to the students below with the students reaction.

@ftate2 @michaelw_13 @IAmNickReynolds @wachfox Fred! Your eloquence is a sight to behold. A true wordsmith. I’m not a betting woman, but would put money on you being a graduate of said 17% graduation rate University.
English

@radarluv99 @michaelw_13 @IAmNickReynolds @wachfox Shut yo pussy ass up , u like a rapist and loser lying ignorant mofo

@BradyClaire13 @AGAlanWilson Your grasp of the English language is remarkable. No wonder Wilson hired you.

Unfortunately, we’ve entered the dirty season of the political campaign. Some are now trying to attack my military record. They’re accusing me and the soldiers I served with of lying, exaggerating and making false statements. In doing so, they’re not just coming after me, they’re disrespecting the men I served with in Iraq.
I can’t believe we’re having this conversation, but I have nothing to hide. About 98% of what we did overseas was routine. Convoys. Long days. Doing the job and looking out for each other. It wasn’t glamorous. It was our duty. But not every day was routine.
August 20, 2004 started out like any other. It was a convoy to return to our home base from the Turkish border.
And then, we were hit by an IED attack.
I remember the blast moving through the vehicle, through our bodies. It was a surreal feeling. Everything slows down, and your training takes over.
At that moment, what matters isn’t politics or headlines. It’s the people beside you.
The men I served with have told that story in their own words. I saw firsthand their heroism, courage and how they laid their lives on the line for their fellow soldiers. This is their story too and I am proud to tell it.
I was also honored and humbled to hear them say that they trusted me with their lives. I also trust them with mine.
By the grace of God, we got everybody home safely.
The IED was quite literally inches away from directly hitting one of the men. The shrapnel was inches away from tearing through others.
The men that were in the tractor trailer that caught on fire were pulled out moments before it exploded by soldiers who risked their lives.
I kept a journal for every day I was over there during that one year deployment. In my journal entry that day I wrote my life was forever changed. It renewed and solidified my faith in God and made me appreciate every second we have here on this earth. I viewed that day as God saving all of us and showing me to make every day count. I’ve spent my life since then trying to do just that.
I didn’t choose to serve my country for a campaign ad. I didn’t serve to get a medal or an award. At that point in my life, I had no idea I even wanted to run for public office. I served because I love this country and believe in something bigger than myself. And I’m still serving as a colonel in the Army National Guard today.
So when some try to score cheap political points by attacking my service, they’re not just wrong, they’re diminishing the service of the men who were in that convoy with me.
I’m proud of my service, yes, but more so I’m proud of the men who were there with me. If you try to attack them, you’re going to have to go through me first and I won’t stand for it.
English

I’m pointing out he and yourself are politicians. You see the attention the next Gov, Pamela Evette is getting, because she’s standing up for herself and against the mob. So, you think you’re clever by positing some manufactured outrage about his service. Now- can you ask the AG why pedos are not serving jail time?
English

@radarluv99 @AGAlanWilson So you’re claiming he’s lying about people trying to attack his military career and that he’s somehow riding Pam Evette’s coattails because of that? What are you even talking about?
English

@JhusWrighte @PamelaEvette @IAmNickReynolds Thank you for letting not only myself, but the entire world know you have zero conception of facts. She was invited in Dec. The 17% graduation rate student body found out and decided because she’s White, conservative and a fan of Trump, that she was therefore a racist.
English

@radarluv99 @PamelaEvette @IAmNickReynolds So she throws insults just because the students are liberal and that’s okay, but it’s not okay for the students to throw insults just because she’s conservative. Got it. Btw, that’s not the only reason they’re throwing insults, but I digress
English

The fact that a speech had to be canceled for credible safety threats is exactly why we cannot give up the fight to end indoctrination and DEI on campuses once and for all.
The root problem is professors who gin up feigned outrage at the detriment of their students, who they should be teaching to think critically. End tenure now!

SC State University President Alexander Conyers announces Lt. Gov. Evette is no longer going to be the Spring 2026 Commencement speaker @ABCNews4
English

@BigPatriotRadio @SCSTATE1896 An absolute travesty! Capitulation to the woke mob as we tax payers fund a failed university. Perhaps the students should have been in class, rather than instigating a mob that has no idea why they’re protesting. Woke sheep
English

Let's see, @SCSTATE1896 (with a 4 year graduation rate of 17%) students bitch and moan over Evette being asked to speak at graduation, yet they can't even graduate. Even at 6 years it's only 39%. #facts #woke #pathetic
English

@MPowersNorrell We call it truth- ask your therapist to define it.
English

@radarluv99 You seem to have a need to try to insult others to make yourself feel more important. It doesn’t work with me. But if you ever go to a therapist, maybe put that on the list as something to explore.
English

😬 Not sure about this political strategy. It feels especially cringey for someone who claims to want to represent everyone.
Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette@PamelaEvette
The left hates Trump. They hate conservatives. They hate anything that doesn’t fit their woke ideology. Well, they are going to really hate my speech because it does the thing they hate the most - telling the truth. See you at commencement.

Students at South Carolina State University held a silent protest Tuesday over the potential selection of Lt. Governor Pamela Evette as the university’s spring graduation commencement speaker.

@sctideprince Bold move. Wishing the sitting President dead. I see why SC State has a 17% graduation rate
English

@harrisonjaime @PamelaEvette Your entire feed is partisan, so stop with the theatrics. Where were you when your party catered out the corpse that is Biden and he screamed about J6 at commencements?
Your faux outrage fools no one
English

.@PamelaEvette in all due respect… not trying to be partisan at all, but graduations and commencements aren’t about political leaders like us. They’re about the students, their hard work, their families’ sacrifices, and the futures they’ve earned.
I get it, it’s a political season, but let’s not demonize anyone but let these students and their families enjoy this moment. For many, this is the first time ever.
English

@radarluv99 @PamelaEvette @realDonaldTrump Like anybody really cares.🙄Glad they’re standing up and hope they continue.
