@Jeff_Mold @mbeisen I get it! I just don’t understand why can’t we also have stronger, bolder, one/two sentence statements of the peer review, which is required for the lay audience (and many scientists too), in my opinion.

@JSheltzer This is super interesting! I was wondering if the dose used is the main source of the effect on EGFR? (in the primary PRISM dataset all of the compounds are used at 2.5uM, e.g. chicago-sky-blue-6b also correlates with EGFR CRISPR dependency which seems a bit odd)

New from my lab: we show that a clinical-stage oncology drug from Eli Lilly is mischaracterized, and its true anti-cancer target is EGFR. We also show how in vitro drug assays can be misleading - cellular+genetic methods are needed to determine drug MOAs.

@cancer_curious Doesn't really get better, for Spain starting every process min 2 months before your card expires, not taking anything someone tells you for granted, checking everything on the official website and finding friends who will patiently listen to your frustrations is best you can do
