Adding to the AI #fail amusement - @grok actually linked to a non-existent @iFixit Apple Watch Ultra 3 teardown (gave a 404 error) as definitive evidence of the X75 modem being in the Apple Watch. Do better, @grok!

I was curious about the cellular modem in the Apple Watch Ultra 3. Google's AI told me the Ultra 3 does not exist and is "misinformation". @grok on the other definitively told me it uses a Qualcomm X75 and the Apple Watch support mmWave?!?! AI - so so useless at time!

@SnazzyLabs I do wish they kept a base model with a Plus sized screen for aging eyes though…

I really cannot emphasize enough that while boring, the iPhone 17 is not only the best value iPhone in years, but one of the best phones on the market. Period. Class-leading display, excellent cameras, the best silicon there is, an incredible modem, WiFi 7, Thread, top notch!

@DarkenMoon_ Dish native 5G SA is still live and working great in Annapolis, MD.

It appears that Dish has already disabled access to their network. It's still broadcasting, but always get rejected from registering on their network due to "no suitable cells in tracking area".

@stetsondoggett Our Dish native mobile hotspot plan is still going strong in Annapolis, MD - 330 Mbps down, 17 Mbps up. It will be such a shame to see the plug pulled, if it comes to that.

Looks like Boost may be shutting down its native 5G network.
