@stillyourlila there's something called a travel declaration form where you have to answer basic questions before entering a country!! i was just helping her through it since the form she got was an english form whilst her old one she was using as reference was only in chinese 🙆

flying back from my NZ trip and sat next to a chinese mom who barely spoke english i offered her a spare pen, she gestured for help, and we spent the next hour playing charades while i tried to explain that her and her husbands occupation was NOT just dad and mom 😭

i could only understand small things like dui, xie xie and dui bu qui QOSUZ .. she also ended up writing saleswoman for her husband but im sure they'll be okay!! I HOPE OH BOY DID I TRY MY BEST 😭
