Paul Levitz did so much good updating the DC contracts in the mid 1980s. Yes DC isn’t perfect but he made sure if you create a character, you get a piece of the pie
My favorite story is Tim Sale getting something extra simply because he was Christian Bale’s favorite artist

reading about the later lives of Joe Shuster, Jack Kirby, Bill Finger, Peter David etc will make you realize the entire industry has to be put to the torch

It’s usually a collection of mediocre pin up illustrations anyways. Boring as hell.

Marvel treats "Intelligence" like it's power levels in DBZ and has never managed to make any of their characters feel actually intelligent beyond them just materializing whatever tech they need.

Vampirella vs Pantha is a horror-action one-shot published in 1997 by Harris Comics, written by Mark Millar with painted artwork by Mark Texeira. The story follows Pantha seeking revenge against the scientists of the Danse Macabre institute for the brutal experiments performed on her, while Vampirella tries to stop her before everything turns into a massacre.

Had a few people ask about the damaged Absolute Batman 20s and it looks like the cover A's did get a spine tick or two on most covers
