I definitely think we in the late stage of the Monad game cycle; where we're 1 update away from life support + announcing of a new permadeath adventure game. Most of us are clinging onto the fact that it is Rag at the helm this time around vs FartMage. 1 month of summer left.

@i_be_maine Hard/Impossible to qualify any game as the "Best" objectively. I wonder if Dust means his favorite/his best? Best games i've played on roblox have been CC but I don't think they'd qualify as the "Best games on the platform"

Don't get me I love me some CC. Hands down some of the best moments I had on roblox easily. But can a game truly be the "best" if only a couple hundred people will ever be able to experience it?

@vF_AIMER7 @heinechan7 It makes sense if a top player is mad about having to carry a low skill player. But if the top player is only interested in winning, wouldn't it assist them more if they reserve getting angry till post game in order to potentially maximize the output of a bad teammate?

@ragoozer @heinechan7 no, if you're a top player who grinded for 10k hours, you feel insulted by game devs to have to carry people with 1% of your skill

The era of F2P games is the worst thing that could have happened to comp gaming: - matchmaking? fully rigged to boost engagement - new hero? always OP - balance? optimized to boost skin sales - wanna tryhard in comp? get muted/banned because you're "toxic" F2P games are awful

@ragoozer @vF_AIMER7 @heinechan7 So who is at fault? The person with 30%wr getting called a person with 30%wr and tilting because of it or the guy who just reads the stats and tries to convince someone ,who is proven to be bad at the game ,to play differently in order to win ?

@vF_AIMER7 @heinechan7 Wouldn't someone who actually cares about winning find a way to communicate with underperforming teammates that helps them perform instead of reacting emotionally and potentially tilting their teammates into doing even worse?

@heinechan7 it's not necessarily insulting, but if you're "toxic" with "" (like, telling people to swap because they have 30% winrate or did 0 this game, say), it shows you CARE about winning, which is healthy

While working on the Layer 2 update we've consistently been keeping up with our schedule of weekly updates (SUNDAY OR MONDAY). I couldn't be more proud of the talented devs I work with, they bring a ton of energy and love to the project
