@hmalviya9 @arbitrum @solana @base I believe alt-L1s will remain and this will push L2s to do better. At the moment alt-L1s have ultra low gas and memes to on board retail. This may change as things improve for L2s.

L2s were supposed to kill alt-ETH chains like Solana, but did they fail? It looks like it for now. ◾️@arbitrum is sitting at $3.17B in TVL, which is 35% lower than what @solana has right now. ◾️@base is doing 2.5M transactions every day, which is 1200% lower than @solana. ◾️@arbitrum has 750K DAUs on its chain right now, which is 100% lower than @solana. Now the real question is, do L2s have any chance to beat Solana in any of these metrics? When we talk about general-purpose L2s on a broader level, I really think @base is going to dominate in the daily transaction metric as they are the right fit for retail. @coinbase already has 8M monthly transacting users, and they have opened the switch between CEX and Web3 wallet. Now the US retail market is ready to come; they will come for memes and might move to solid coins in the future. There is a greater chance that we could see crazy runs around base memes, which would translate into metrics. It's Base vs. Solana right now. Other L2s like @arbitrum are leading in DeFi TVL, but they really need to catch up with innovation as the TVL has declined by 25% in the past 3 months. When we talk about Polygon and Optimism, I think their consumer play is waning over time, and they are losing dApp mind share. However, they are increasing their mindshare as blockchain toolkits. Both CDK and Superchain are set to grow in enterprise adoption. On a token-wise basis, I don't find any single L2 coin with the potential to outperform memes, AI, or RWA right now, so I'll limit my exposure.

@ArdoCc This is a good experiment, the most important aspect of CL position is one must understand technical analysis well in order to set ranges to avoid frequent rebalancing. Arbitrary ranges will not be effective.
