Within a few years Iranians- a good chunk of whom, including in Iran, sympathized with Israel recently - will overwhelmingly despise Israel. Bookmark this.
People act as if Iranians are unique in the history of the region, in having a lot of Israel sympathists. Not true. Other peoples in the region - e.g. Shiite and Maronite Lebanese - were once largely sympathetic to Israel. They turned on Israel due to its conduct in the 1982 war and subsequent occupation of Lebanon.
But of course none of this is ever Israel's fault.

That 7 October obviously involved atrocities and the targeting of civilians does not mean Israel was fighting in “self defense” against Gaza (lmao), a territory it had occupied for 56 years and kept under blockade for 17 before 7 Oct. Blockade btw is a casus belli.
