@HDFCBank_Cares This is extremely disappointing. I switched my branch expecting better service, but the new branch (Dunlop, kolkata) has been completely unresponsive. I urgently need an current account for my business. A verification visit was done on 13th at my office and collected documents such GST, and I was clearly promised that my current account would be opened by last week or at least account number by last Saturday But since Saturday, the point of contact from the branch has been ignoring my calls with no update whatsoever. If my request to current is rejected, at least have the basic courtesy to inform the customer instead of leaving them in the dark. So at least I could apply some other bank This level of service is unacceptable.

That’s so relatable. I’ve been running for almost two years now, and I still don’t understand why I do it. I don’t feel encouraged, and I don’t really encourage others either. in two years, a lot of friends have tried to join me, but they all quit after some time. Recently, one of my friends stopped after just two weeks. It’s not about speed or mileage anymore. I don’t even check my logs anymore

From now on, I own my data. No more paying for cloud storage. No Google Drive. No iCloud. No subscriptions for password managers. No extra money just to stream my own media. I built my own private cloud for me and my family accessible from anywhere in the world. ✔ TrueNAS + ZFS ✔ Self-hosted apps (Nextcloud, Immich, Vaultwarden, Jellyfin) ✔ Secure remote access ✔ Local-first networking (fast inside, secure outside) ✔ Full control, no middlemen ✔ And no more ads for me It wasn’t easy. Things broke. A lot. But I fixed everything. And now, it’s mine.

I’m being brutally honest, it's mindset of many. In my first job, words like ‘freelancing’ or ‘self-employed’ were almost taboo. Not literally banned, but close. Once I was discussing my future plans with colleagues, and a senior literally did this 🤫 and told me to lower my voice. They don’t want ambitious people. They want ambitious employees, not entrepreneurs. That’s the real mindset problem. The moment you’re an employee, some people start thinking they have authority to command you. It’s basically a king–slave mentality.

Client asked for a growth strategy and this morning he wanted to get on a zoom call for the discussion. I was waiting for him to join the meeting but he was like, 'Oh you run a company? This won’t work.' Bro… you literally messaged me after seeing my profile. Okay, CALM!🧘‍♀️

I’m very profit-and-loss oriented outside my personal life, and social media still feels strange to me. Talking to a camera, chasing engagement, none of that clicks. I even hired a social media specialist last year. Some posts did well on LinkedIn, but I didn’t see real value. Now I’m here mainly so people can check my background or sometimes I just post what I'm doing. Without wanting to be an influencer, obsessing over virality definitely feels like gambling

Buying RAM never felt this stressful. I rarely build new PCs, but this time I’m putting together a NAS for my own use. I usually source parts from Alibaba, AliExpress, or those sketchy Chinese marketplaces. Buying everything from one or two sellers usually gets me better deals and saves on shipping. This time, RAM surprised me. Yesterday DDR4 sticks were about ~30% more expensive online Chinese market online than at local market, and that didn’t even include shipping. For the first time, buying rams locally actually made more sense. One trusted seller told me, “If you’re getting a good price today, buy it now. RAM prices are about to go even higher.” It kind of checks out. DDR5 is still expensive, so people are going for DDR4 for their builds. That’s indirectly pushing DDR4 demand and prices up. The lowest price I got from a dealer I trust was $128 per stick. Later, my friend and I went RAM hunting across local shops, and I managed to get them for about ~$96 per stick. At that point, it honestly felt like I was hunting for a rare piece of jewelry instead of memory sticks. And I really don’t want to know what GPU buyers are dealing with in this economy.

2025 changed my life completely. Last year I was 200+ lbs and depressed. This year I am running a marathon (26 miles) on July 26th in San Francisco. Would you believe it?

@Jogoh95 Absolutely just mind that it's beta right now, there could be potential bugs and more testing required but for basic usage good to enough, You can follow the example app from git repo

Shipped a small React Native native module I built for my own projects: @cleanuidev/react-native-scanner Main reason: existing solutions didn’t support target-area scanning properly. It’s in beta, currently I am using it in my own codebase, and still evolving. Putting it out there for other RN devs who might need the same thing. 🔗 @cleanuidev/react-native-scanner" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">npmjs.com/package/@clean
