@AvantiWestCoast why no services to Tamworth since before 1800? No plans given, no update from staff, only that Tamworth isn't a regular stop for Avanti? Yet, you pass it on multiple other routes destined further north? I get the disruption, but having no options is poor.

Measures against haulage companies aren't hard enough... Put this on HGV drivers and we'll never see bridge strikes reduce. Put a few haulage companies out of business and there might be some change.

Yorkshire - London, London - Ipswich, Ipswich to Birmingham, by train over the last three days. All journeys on time, and well utilised. No parking charges, time to work and this evening relax. Just need a taxi home now to be fully intermodal.

Liberal interpretation of “North” spreads the money saved from the smaller Euston needed post HS2 northern cancellation around the country from Suffolk ports to Somerset… Manchester appears to have been moved northwards too.

… Government is arguing that with the rise in costs, the cost benefit ratio for HS2 may have fallen below 1… some bus projects have a ratio above 4 (ie £4 for every £1 invested)… But this would be for the whole project… now half built.
