STATEMENT BY CHARLIE SIMPSON, DIRECTOR OF GB POLITICS At approximately 9:38am today, a post was published on the GB Politics X account stating: "Charlie Simpson doesn’t want to protect women from domestic abuse." Last night, I decided to prevent a post from being published on the GB Politics account. The post included a phone number for victims of domestic violence following the England v Argentina match. I believed the post would be performative and would achieve very little. I am, of course, strongly opposed to domestic violence and have personal experience of a situation relating to it. The admin responsible for the post has been suspended. I have also decided to carry out a complete reshuffle of GB Politics, including the editorial team. Several members of the editorial team have resigned today for various reasons. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours. It is my intention to reset GB Politics and lead the organisation into a new, more professional era. I will provide further details on this in due course.
