Enjoyed working on this paper w @ml_pomeroy @DamsOConnor @ShannonJuengst @Rehabilomics4U and others. Individuals with TBI who never or rarely leave home face a poor prognosis. TBI clinicians should stress the importance of social engagement and physical activity outside the home

In a recent Arch Phys Med Rehabil paper, BIRC faculty Dr. @raj_kumarphd & colleagues found 14.2% of @TBI_MS participants living in private residences 1 year post-TBI were homebound, with 2% never leaving home. Risk factors include older age, Medicaid use, and transport dependence
