Kumar et al. identified four clinical phenotypes and their neuroanatomical cortical network correlates in a well-characterized cohort of chronic traumatic brain injury. Read at buff.ly/7G04seP. @raj_kumarphd, @DamsOConnor, @ComaRecoveryLab, @YelenaBodien

In a recent Arch Phys Med Rehabil paper, BIRC faculty Dr. @raj_kumarphd & colleagues found 14.2% of @TBI_MS participants living in private residences 1 year post-TBI were homebound, with 2% never leaving home. Risk factors include older age, Medicaid use, and transport dependence

Our study looking at self-reported prevalence of cardiovascular conditions in the @TBI_MS database is out. We found higher rate of HTN and CVA but lower rate of MI and CHF after TBI, likely due to survival bias. ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/JA… @UTSW_PMR @UTSWBrain
