International crude prices have gone through the roof in the last 1 month from around 70 dollars/barrel to around 122 dollars/barrel. Consequently, petrol and diesel prices for consumers have gone up all over the world. Prices have increased by around 30%-50% in South East Asian countries, 30% in North American countries, 20% in Europe and 50% in African countries. The Modi Government had two choices- either increase prices drastically for citizens of Bharat as all other nations have done or bear the brunt on its finances so that Indian citizen is insulated from international volatility. Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji, in keeping with his Government’s commitment of last 4 years since the conflict in Russia-Ukraine started, decided to take a hit on its own finances again to safeguard the Indian citizen. Government has taken a huge hit on it taxation revenues to ensure very high losses of oil companies (approximately 24 Rs/litre for petrol and 30 Rs/litre for diesel) at this time of sky high international prices are reduced. At the same time, export tax has been levied as international prices of petrol and diesel have skyrocketed and any refinery exporting to foreign nations will have to pay export tax. BPCL is powering the green shift at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. Through its City Gas Distribution network in Rohtak, BPCL has enabled PNG supply to 350 kitchens on the University campus bringing cleaner energy right where it’s needed most. From domestic kitchens to commercial operations, including the Faculty House, MDU is steadily transitioning to natural gas. Shri Rajeev Kumar, CGM (O&M and HSSE – Gas), recently represented Bharat Petroleum at the Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition in Tokyo, where he presented an innovative solution — the In-line Turboexpander (ITE), an advanced waste-to-clean energy recovery system that generates carbon emission-free electricity from natural gas pipeline pressure (i.e., 35 kg/cm²) at pressure let-down sites in the gas pipeline network. This advanced technology harnesses the energy typically lost during gas pressure reduction processes, converting it into clean, zero-emission electricity. It can produce up to 2.6 GWh of green energy annually — enough to power approximately 700 homes and offset nearly 2,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the environmental impact of consuming around 4,360 barrels of oil. Is this new type of fraud .I booked a room via @bookingcom and then I received a payment link from booking.com for payment for my friend stay at bhubaneswar at super townhouse swain heritage which js an oyo hotel @oyorooms . Made the payment and got conformation.

When my friend reach hotel he was denined checking stating that they have not got payment or booking and after going through both helpline @bookingcom and @oyorooms no help was given and I have to pay again to hotel directly for getting room . I think this is new cheating
