A person like me would not know the difference between a fine dining restaurant and other restaurants in Taj. I have stayed in many Taj properties across Bharat without realising this.

Ram Bhai, different people have different way of attaining their aspirations. Same Taj, early morning breakfast, you can have in shorts and as a Hotel Guest it is ok - lounge it will be ok too. If the restaurant is fine dining, they have their rules for ex. Smart Casuals and closed footwear. Quite common globally. One adheres, as guest, to enjoy a meal and be pampered. Padmasan ain’t the issue - demanding conformance as a right to it, is.
