The lean Ethereum team has been doing a truly amazing job kicking into gear this year, and delivering on all fronts to ensure Ethereum's long-term scaling, decentralization and resilience.
I expect all of these ideas will be ready to kick into gear at roughly the same time as the short-term scaling roadmap delivers on its key milestones.

Finally, Emile presented a minimal zkVM for lean Ethereum - leanVM. Optimized for XMSS aggregation and recursion. With a 4-instruction ISA, multilinear STARKs, and logup* lookups, it minimizes commitment costs compared to Cairo. Current recursion: 2.7s, targeting 10x improvement!

Thanks for flagging my book, DeFi and the Future of Finance. The book's opening sentence is: "We have come full circle" meaning we began with peer-to-peer exchange (barter) and now have returned to it. I think best to think in terms of "value" rather than "currency".

About ten seconds ago, @paradigm have opened an Echo group, which I am pretty pleased about, and I have simultaneously agreed to advise Paradigm -- mostly helping with their public market/liquid fund.
I didn't even know Paradigm had a public market fund until yesterday. Will spend some time figuring out which coin I should try to make Matt topblast first

@EricBalchunas For front end purchase of an ETF may feel costless and instant, but for the back end (like Blackrock who is taking care of all for front end users) is neither free nor immediate. Tokenization might substantially reduce those. Maybe?🤷
