#MovieReview - #Krishnavataram: Part 1: Hridyayam - A VISUAL DELIGHT Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The film springs such a pleasant surprise. The trailer itself had given an idea that this would be painting on celluloid and watching it at the big screen is a truly wow experience. While the whole devotional aspect of the legendary tale of Shree Krishna, Radha, Satyabhama and Rukmini has been heard for generations, it’s surprising that no one ever thought of bringing this at the big screen. Credit to filmmaker #HardikGajjar for making this at a grand scale which would appeal to the millennials and beyond who haven’t been exposed to this. The casting is just right too with under-exposed actors making the most of this divine opportunity. #SiddharthGupta (as Krishna) #SushmitaBhat (as Radha) #SanskrutiJayana (as Satyabhama) and #NivaashiyniKrishnan (as Rukmini) are picture perfect - well, literally. Also, special mention for their diction and dialogue delivery. It’s orchestrated so well. The film is technically rich and has certain consistency in the way it looks and feels throughout. Moreover, BGM by #PrasadS is absolutely in tune with the spirit and theme of the film. Cinematography by #AyanankaBose makes it a truly big screen experience that fills up the frames. The film could well emerge as the surprise of the season. One has to give it to producer #SajanRajKurup to have put this entire film together independently and ensuring a credible release. From here on, it all boils down to audience word of mouth to do the trick and get this well made film its deserving audience.
