As a Deep South Southern girl, I never knew anything about hockey. We never played it, never watched it. Hell, we didn’t even have ice rinks, let alone hockey. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I started paying attention to the sport. I gotta admit, it’s by far the most entertaining game. The aggression, the fights, the speed, the raw skill of being on a blade, on ice, with a stick & moving a puck at the same time- fascinating. It has become my favorite sport to watch & I say this as a lifelong football fan. I sure wish I had grown up with hockey. I’m late to the party of appreciating this incredible sport. We are watching a series that has a lot of hockey in it & damn, I enjoy it so much. Matter fact, the very first hockey game I attended- I caught a puck that flew over the glass. Is that common? I dont know yet lol. I’m a normie & a newbie 😂
